I don’t know about you, but I often find it very hard to quiet the voices in my head that tell me not to create. You know, the mean ones that tell me that I’m not good at it, or that it’s a waste of time, or that I should be investing my energy elsewhere.
Sometimes the guilt I feel at taking the time to make stuff actually stops me from taking joy in the process. Which is CRAZY! I was born to be creative, because I’m a human being – we were all born to it.
So today I made myself this little permission slip. It’s to affirm and encourage the creative drive in me, and quiet the mean voices.
