Felt flower video tutorial #1: Pompom centred flower

Hello, lovelies!

I am crazy excited today, because I’m kicking off a little tutorial series that I think you are going to love.

If you follow me on Instagram, you will have seen me making a lot of felt flowers lately. I was asked to create some for a freelance project, so I had to teach myself how, and after a lot of experimentation (and guidance from blogs like Something Turquoise, and Delia Creates) I’ve come up with a few crackers.

Arty has been watching me make them, and asked if he could have some for his room. I was of course very happy to make some for my flower loving boy, and thought the best way to display them would be in a wreath.

I think it is a very pretty little thing, and you would be surprised how easy it is to make.

No, seriously, it is. I’ll show you.

I’ve made a series of videos demonstrating how to make each individual flower, and then a final one that takes you through how to put them all together to make the wreath. I’m going to share them with you here on the blog over the next few weeks, starting with this pompom centred flower.

All the instructions you need are in the video, and you’ll find a list of supplies listed right after it.

Ready?

Take it away, video Essie!
