Here is a thing that has been very hard to keep under my hat: I have been invited onto the Paislee Press 2016 design team!
What?!
I mean, WHAT?!
Liz‘s amazing designs are so very much my bag. The bold florals, geometric accents, and perfect combinations of brush script and type that mark her style just make me so happy. I can’t believe I get to spend all year playing with them, and incorporating them into my storytelling and memory keeping.
After the excitement of finding myself on the team, the first thing I had to do was get stuck into the brand new range – ‘Let’s Talk About’.
I had a lovely story to tell that went perfectly with one of the main journal cards, so I built a spread around it, and it looks like this:
I had to restrain myself from going completely OTT with this spread, because there were so many elements that I LOVE and wanted to use (I mean, hi, have you seen these beautiful flowers?). I had to remind myself that there will be time enough for all of them. Ooh, I’m all abuzz at that thought – so much to make, so much to look forward to!
