This post is going up a little later than I’d planned because I’ve spent a bit of time in hospital this month. It turns out I have blood clots in my lungs, and they’ve been causing me some pain and making breathing a bit of hard work, so pretty much everything’s been running on a slight delay!
But I finished April in my pocket pages album, and I am keen to share. Ready? Here it is:
Simple title pages are so my jam now. No fuss, just pretty paper.
I made this spread as part of my Paislee Press design team responsibilities. I was pretty excited to be using a set that was all about mothers. ‘Dear Mom’ was perfect for scrappily celebrating my co-mum.
If you love the flower that Maeve is wearing in those pictures you can get your own here.
If you’re not listening to Lemonade at the moment, I honestly don’t know what you’re doing with your life.
I was quite sparing with my records this month, but I like the photos I’ve used and the memories I’ve included. There are some special ones there, so it’s definitely a case of quality over quantity.
I used: Paislee Press ‘Adventure’ journal cards, ‘Dear Mom’ journal cards, ‘Bright Ideas’ papers, ‘xoxo’ journal cards, and ‘Quintessentials No. 4′ papers || Studio Calico printable journal cards from ‘Magic’, ‘Jolly Holiday’, ‘Film Club’ and ‘Work’ sets || Studio Calico puffy alphas in ‘Clean Slate’ || Ali Edwards chipboard alphas in ‘Cascade’ || Bits and pieces from Ali Edwards’ ‘Heart’ story kit || Sequin heart stickers from The Freckled Fawn || American Crafts gold glitter cardstock || Becky Higgins’ ‘Everyday’ edition chipboard stickers || Print #11 from Se7en Paper’s ‘Amelia’ range || ‘Bright Bows’ cardstock from Dear Lizzy’s ‘Fine and Dandy’ range || My trusty Tiny Attacher || Staedtler pigment liner, size 0.3
