Do you have a memory keeping format that kind of stumps you? One that you have real trouble ever getting to look right?
For me it’s the 2×2 coin pockets.
Normally I’d just say “hey, they’re not for me” and not use them, but when I see pretty layouts like this one by Nicole Reaves, or this one by Greta Sutherland, I can’t get past wanting them in my albums.
So when I had three versions of the same photo to scrap last month, I decided I had to give it a go and make it work.
The colours in the photos were mostly bright yellow with a bit of purple and green, so Paislee Press’ new ‘Dwell’ range was perfectly timed to coordinate with them – honestly, sometimes I think Liz designs these things just for me. I decided to keep it simple with just a tiny bit of journalling, and mostly just let the photos and the papers speak for themselves, and…? I finally got a spread of 2x2s I’m happy with!
Here’s how it looks:
‘Dwell’ is going to be a long-term fave for me, with those florals and all that warm glowy yellow. I love it, and I love this little page.
